This year Windrush 75 Anniversary will take place at Castle Fields, off Kimbolton Road, Higham Ferrers.
This celebration is aimed at bring communities together to appreciate the contribution of the Windrush Generation and their descendants and also find common grounds to live in harmony and create a thriving community that is fit for purpose in the 21 century.

Young people on the other hand would like to more fun, food, and various activities that is more representative of our culture and people today without losing sight of the knowledge that had to be passed on to future generations about the contribution made by the Windrush generation to Great Britain after the second world war and all those who came after to help rebuild Britain.
This year as part of the celebration we are bringing together various small businesses and charitable organisation together where the general public can engage and learning more about various services that are available to them and to have fun as the same time.
