Warm Space at Crow Hill Community Centre

In conjunction with North Northamptonshire Council, BAK UP CIC is supporting local communities through this winter

BAK UP CIC is being supported by North Northamptonshire Council (NNC) to run warm space this winter at the Irthlingborough Community Centre also know as Crow Hill Community Centre every Wednesday from 12.30pm-2.30pm. This is open to all especially older people in and around Irthlingborough to come together, have a chat and connect over a warm cup of cuppa, tea and biscuit. This is a great way to  tackle loneliness and isolation and get to meet new friendly people. If you would like to attend but worried about transport. Give our team a phone call on 01933698347 or email- admin@bakupcic.co.uk.

UPLIFT HOURS

This funding will support BAK UP CIC in North Northamptonshire for the UPLIFT HOURS project to continue our work with young people aged 10-18 and up to 25 with SEND in the Hatton Park ward. The project will focus on a range of themed sessions, combining creative arts, sports, skills for life, digital engagement, and emotional wellbeing support with a wide range of activities including podcasting and DJ skills, sports and physical wellbeing, self-defence and boxing fitness together with life skills such as interview skills and CV writing.

These activities are free to entry and exit. Parents can bring their children throughout the week to any of the activities. Booking for a place is NOT required. This is an after school project and therefore we would expect young people to pop in and out of  any of the sessions without the need to to pre-book a place. For those who would like to attend full sessions regularly you can use this LINK to register your interest. We look forward to seeing you at one of the UPLIFT HOURS activities soon. You can follow us on social media  and see what we have on offer for young people in and around Finedon.
