BAK UP CIC aims to tackle these issues through a local, community-driven approach. Our offer will complement the work of national and regional hubs by providing targeted local support and developing practical, place-based solutions informed by ongoing engagement with care providers and displaced workers across West Northamptonshire.
Our Offer
- Aligning displaced workers with the specific workforce needs of care providers in West Northamptonshire to ensure effective and sustainable placements.
- Working collaboratively with care providers to ensure displaced care workers receive appropriate induction, and integration support to enable a smooth transition into long-term employment.
- Supporting the physical, emotional, and practical wellbeing of displaced care workers through our local wraparound services, including emergency food assistance and essential household support.
- Providing regular progress reports, success stories, case studies, and lessons learned to West Northamptonshire Council to inform and strengthen regional and national discussions on international recruitment and workforce sustainability.
